School Schedules & Curriculum

This is a child-led activity wherein the child chooses which toys to play with. This is done during the first 2 hours in the morning to give the children time to assimilate in the classroom, and then again in the afternoon while waiting for their parents.

We gather as a community. We all sit down on the carpet to talk about the world around us, sing songs, learn new concepts, play as a group, and listen to stories.

This is everyone’s chance to be heard, to learn how to listen and take turns, and to actively
participate in group learning activities.

We prepare activities to reinforce the lessons of the day stationed across different sections of the classroom. Centers include art, science, math, music, writing and sensory activities.

We take advantage of the parks near the facility (i.e., Supera Park). Walking to and from the playground is also an opportunity to learn and practice safety in crossing streets.

When it is raining or it is too cold outside, we can still stretch those big muscles indoors using the gross motor equipment and the play area.
